An anti-terrorism court judge along with his wife and two children was shot down by unidentified armed assailants on Sunday.
According to the district police, the incident occurred at Anbar Interchange near SwabI. The ATC judge Aftab Afridi along with his wife and two children was travelling from Swat to Islamabad when his vehicle was targeted.
The ATC judge Aftab Afridi two women, his two-year-old son, died on the spot, while the security guards and driver sustained serious injuries in the heart-wrenching incident.
The armed men managed to escape the spot, the police have cordoned off the area to search the accused.
DPO Shoaib viewed that the incident appears to be a result of personal enmity and further investigation is underway.
The chief minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has directed the police to immediately apprehend the actual culprits.
