Karachi: Indian-hailed Zimbabwe head coach Lalchand Rajput has been stopped by Indian High Commission (IHC) in Harare from traveling to Pakistan.
Pakistan had issued a visa to Lalchand Rajput for the cricket tour but he was pressurized by the Indian regime to not travel. Zimbabwe Cricket has apprised the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) of the matter.
Earlier on Tuesday morning, the Zimbabwe cricket team reached Islamabad without their head coach. The visitors underwent coronavirus tests in the federal capital and will remain in quarantine for one week. The series will be played in a bio-secure bubble as strict COVID-19 protocols will be followed.
