Veteran Pakistani dramatist, novelist and playwright Haseena Moin has passed away in Karachi at 80, Friday early morning, family confirmed.

Haseena Moeen was battling with breast cancer, but reason behind her death has not been confirmed yet.

Haseena’s funeral prayers will be held after Asar in North Nazimabad at her residence.

Moin gave many hit plays for stage, radio and television which gained international fame & popularity.

She was the recipient of the Pride of Performance award for her immense services to the performing arts in Pakistan.

She was considered to be the best playwriter and dramatist Pakistan has ever witnessed in Television history.

Her list of few hit Pakistani  dramas  are ,Ankahi, Tanhaiyaan’, Kiran Kahani, Dhoop Kinaray, Aahat, Uncle Urfi, Shehzori, Kohar, Des Pardes, Pal Do Pal, Aansoo, Kasak, Parchaiyan (1976) and Parosi.
