Former Governor Sindh and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Muhammad Zubair has lashed out at PPP for using the forum of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) for gaining vested political interests.
Zubair expressed these views during an interview on a private channel. He asserted that PML-N is the largest party in Punjab and capable of making long march a success single handedly.
In response to a question Zubair said that PML N has made no deal with anyone and hence not backing away from resignation but PPP has done so by conditioning Mian Nawaz Sharif’s return with resignations to damage PDM.
Zubair asserted that situation worsened within PDM during Senate Elections when PPP made a nexus with “unseen forces” and betrayal of PPP on the matter of opposition leader in Senate and violated PDM’s decision on the issue.
Zubair admitted it during the interview that there was already a rift in PDM over different issues even before the issuance of show cause notices to ANP and PPP.
